Cauliflower Bolognese


Ingredients:Cauliflower Bolognese

  • 1kg of Beef Mince
  • 2 bottles of Passata Sauce (sugar free)
  • 300g sliced Mushrooms
  • 4 cloves of crushed Garlic
  • 1 Brown Onion
  • 1 handful of finely chopped curly Parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon of All Spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cloves
  • Himalayan Salt ┬áto taste
  • Cracked Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons of Coconut Oil
  • 1 Cauliflower (steamed in usual way)

 Directions:

  • Melt coconut oil in a pan
  • Brown mince thoroughly
  • Add onion, garlic and mushrooms and cook until onion is translucent and mushrooms are half cooked
  • Add Passata Sauce and all herbs and spices and bring to boil
  • Reduce flame to a simmer and simmer for about an hour, stirring regularly
  • Serve over cauliflower
